I know you’re frustrated, otherwise you wouldn’t have clicked to read this article on how to use it to your advantage, but what I want to know is, are you at a point that you are about to let your frustration cause you to slow down or even quit? In this article I’m going to unveil exactly what needs to be done immediately to use your frustration to propel you to the next level, rather than knock you back down to square one.

I’ll be candid with you – I’m frustrated right now. I’m frustrated with my growth; frustrated with the number of leads I’m getting each day; frustrated with the amount of income that I’m producing; frustrated that I haven’t found enough leaders to get to the next level. So, I have a ripe, freshly plucked piece of frustration fruit sitting right in front of me as big as a watermelon.

Frustration is a poison, much like fear that will cause you to doubt your abilities, forget about all the progress you’ve made, and suggest to you that you are off track and need to quit. Frustration will make you second-guess yourself. Frustration will convince you to beat yourself up with discouraging self talk. For many of you, frustration will be the driving force behind you deciding to walk away from your dreams.

The difference between you and me is in how we deal with frustration. I’ve been here at frustration’s tree many times before, yet I’ve figured out how to use this fruit to my advantage. There are two distinct reasons that you feel frustrated and both point towards an awesome victory if you will stay the course.

First, frustration is a “flag” for failure which is absolutely necessary on your way to success. So many people believe that the way to success is around failure, but in fact you become successful by going THROUGH failure. The more frustrated you are, the more failure you’re experiencing, and the more failure you experience the closer you are to success.

I remember listening to a great martial artist refer to a particular kick that he needed to master on his way to achieving high ranks in his discipline. He held up a picture of himself throwing a “perfect” version of this kick, but mentioned that the picture was a representation of thousands of kicks prior to it that were failures. Did he feel frustration? Absolutely he did. But wisdom says that he was on the right track, so he stayed with it.

Second, frustration is a builder of resolve. I remember when I had days when I generated no leads at all that I pressed in HARDER rather than pulled back. Instead of one video, I would do three. I would double or triple my production while in the place of frustration, and it was these times that I experienced the greatest growth. Don’t allow your frustration to bully you. Stick your chin out further and puff up your chest higher. Dare frustration to take it’s best shot at you and laugh in its face.

If you really want to live your dreams, you must take a stand against this bully called frustration today. There used to be a bully on my block that would make me cross the street when I saw him coming. I lived in fear of this dude for far too long until one day I told him that, if I had to fight him every day for the rest of my life, then so be it because I would be damned if he was going to continue to make me go around him. I was FRUSTRATED AND ANGRY, yet ready for the challenge. He never bullied me again.

Today is your day to stand up to this bully called frustration!
